Skiing is a beloved winter pastime for many, but it can also be quite expensive. The average cost of a single-day lift ticket at a destination ski resort in the U.S. is a staggering $250. However, there are ways to enjoy the slopes without breaking the bank. Season passes like Ikon or Epic offer great value for skiers who frequent multiple resorts, but for those who prefer to pay per trip, there are plenty of options in New England where lift tickets are priced at under $100 for the 2024-2025 season. In fact, some spots even offer weekly deals for less than $30, and there are a few where skiing is completely free.
