Alright, so like, this dude Clint Bierman from Middlebury, Vermont, is super hyped about this game he’s been into for over 20 years called Shweebee. He’s all about spreading the joy of this backyard game across America. Not really sure why this matters, but hey, he’s on a mission, right?

Where did the name Shweebee come from, you ask? Well, according to Bierman, it’s a contraction of “should we be.” As in, “Shweebee eating right now?” I mean, people are apparently saying it without even realizing it. His buddy Paul Choiniere, who’s also into the game, mentioned that. So, these two, along with investor Greg Naughton, are all about making Shweebee the next big thing in lawn games.

So, Shweebee is basically a lawn game where two teams of two players each try to score points by tossing a disc through their opponents’ poles. It’s pretty simple to pick up but can get pretty intense. The game is made in Vermont with mostly American components, except for the discs which are imported. The whole operation is run out of Choiniere’s garage on his beef farm. Cool, right?
