She was 79 years old. Born in Springfield, Vermont, to Clark and Elizabeth Hazeltine, Alice led a life filled with love, service, and adventure.
A Life of Service
Alice’s legacy as a nurse and caregiver was unmatched, with her commitment to helping others shining through in every aspect of her life. From her early days attending one-room schools in Peaseville and Simonsville to her time at the Thompson School of Practical Nursing in Brattleboro, Alice’s passion for caring for others was evident. She married Albert Charles Lindquist in 1966 and dedicated herself to raising their two sons, Christopher Enoch and Eric Scott, in the cozy log cabin they built together in Andover.

Alice’s impact extended far beyond her work as a nurse, as she found numerous ways to serve her community with her deep faith guiding her every step. Whether providing rides to medical appointments, volunteering her time and skills at fundraising events, or helping build homes with her family, Alice’s generous spirit touched the lives of many. Alice is survived by her husband, sons, nieces, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and extended family, all of whom cherish the memories and moments shared with her. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Alice’s name to Soaring Eagle Charity and Heritage Living Center, organizations close to her heart.
