So, like, the Philo Ridge Farm in Charlotte is now a nonprofit, which is pretty cool, right? They’ve got some new folks in charge, too. Bryan Flower is gonna be the executive director, and Marc St. Jacques is gonna be the director of food and beverage and executive chef. Sounds like they’re gonna shake things up this summer!

The farm officially became the Philo Ridge Farm Foundation back in March after a long process. During that time, they had to close down their on-farm restaurant and market. But now, they’re gearing up to reopen, and with Flower and St. Jacques leading the charge, it’s gonna be interesting to see what they cook up.

Flower is coming to Vermont with a ton of experience in leadership and food systems. He’s been doing this stuff for over 20 years, so he definitely knows his way around a kitchen. St. Jacques, on the other hand, has been running a joint in Brooklyn since 2019, so he’s no stranger to good food. These guys are gonna bring some serious culinary chops to the farm, that’s for sure. Looking forward to seeing what they whip up!
