After graduating from Berea High School in Ohio, Robert pursued his passion for engineering at Purdue University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering. His commitment to his field led him to a successful 39-year career at IBM, where he was known for his expertise in VLSI design and testing.
A Proud Supporter of Education and Community
Robert was not only dedicated to his work but also to his community and alma mater. As a lifelong supporter of Purdue University, he took pride in the university’s basketball program and remained connected to the institution throughout his life. Additionally, his involvement in the IEEE community showcased his commitment to advancing engineering knowledge and skills.

His sister Anne, from Biddeford Pool, ME, fondly recalls the monthly luncheons he attended with a group of retirees.
